Ida The Young – a dream-pop band from Pilsen, Czech Republic released a new “Silver Thing” (EP) this week on Korobushka Records (Sinks, Petr Valek, Fotbal, etc..) The new EP sounds really different from their previous work “Strange Shaped Flowers” (EP), full filled with the art-rock atmosphere of the early 70s. 

Listening to the “Silver Thing” (EP) – get the feeling, that a previous vibe give the way to the anxiety of steel guitar plucks and the mechanical roughness of drum machines, but the main line is still very soulful. In musical meaning, sounds like that not 12 months, but at least 12 years passed between these two releases and both of them are great. Gold to Silver in sound have been changed.
