overdriven dreams is the solo outfit of Uroš Kostić, guitarist from Niš, Serbia. After many years of experimenting with the possibilities of his main instrument and various other devices through work with several bands and projects, most prominently with post-rock band There., he started utilizing those sounds in his solo work.

overdriven dreams seek to bring the infinite sound fields of phantasmagoric dreams to life. In the process, he relies primarily on improvisation on the guitar, which he often uses outside the standard application of the instrument, and with the help of devices such as drum sticks, radios, cell phones, and e-bow. Also, he uses manipulation of cassettes, lo-fi synths, and granular samplers in the sonic imaging of endless fields of dreams.
