Formed in 2014 out of the absurd encounter of Alessandro Criscitiello (AKA gregorsamsaestmort), Filippo Scalzo (Caron Dimonio) and Mario d’Anelli (European Ghost), The Black Veils joyfully write angry and miserable post-punk songs while based in Bologna, Italy.

In more than ten years of co-existence, The Black Veils have released three albums: Blossom (2015), Dealing with Demons (2017) and Carnage (2021). Between 2015 and 2024 The Black Veils kept on touring through Europe (Italy, France, Germany, Bosnia…), sharing the stage with Drab Majesty or good friends like The Foreign Resort, Je t’aime and Geometric Vision.

GASLIGHT, their 4th and brand new studio album, is out on Nov. 14th, 2025, published by the independent French label Icy Cold Records. A decisive shift towards electronica, ten apocalyptic songs filled with black humour and cinema imagery. Your funeral party is served.
